I'm planning to shoot some short outdoor scenes in late February up here in
Canada (Montreal) and I would like to get the advice of experienced
videographers who've done this. My XL-1s is rated to operate above 4 deg.
Celsius (about 39 F), but Feb. weather can be expected to drop to -10 C (14
F) barring a cold snap. I don't want to invest in a pricey heated case
unless I have to, and I have enough batteries to cover the short shoot even
with power drain due to cold, so what temperatures can the XL-1 really take
in real-world situations?
Thanks for your advice.
