Doh! You are indeed correct.

It's a nice e-mail client, I now use it for that myself for all my mail. It
is ONLY a damn good news client though if you compare it to M$ LookOut, I
have tried a few times to use it for news, but it's just not man enough for
the job.

I'm afraid you were told wrong then. The mail filtering is a PITA if you
collect mail from several different boxes, but for news, I'm told you
/still/ can't apply a global filter to ALL groups.

As can 40tude, which goes back to what I was saying about apps specificly
designed for a task Vs apps with some other stuff bolted on.
