I'm not sure if this question even makes sense so forgive me if it doesn't.
For the last year or two, I've been downloading TV programs that I wasn't
able to watch due to my work schedule, watching them, then deleting them.
I'd normally download files that were AVIs, even though they didn't always
specifically say they were AVIs. However, some of the shows that I follow
only seem to be available in a format called "caph" (at least "caph" is part
of the title of the file.)
Unfortunately, when I download a "caph", I have no idea what to do with the
files. How do I play them? Do I need to run them through a conversion
program of some kind to turn them into AVIs (or some other format playable
on my DVD player)?
I prefer to watch TV programs on my TV, not on my computer, which is why
AVIs were so nice: they would play in both places.
Can someone tell me what I need to do with these "caph" files to make them
playable, preferably on both the computer's DVD player and the DVD player
connected to my TV, which is a Pioneer DVP 642/37.
