One doesn't rip vinyl, one records it. LP Ripper is fine for analog
recording as is Audacity. And CDex, Audiograbber and many more.
------------------
No "auto track splitter" will work well. Especially with vinyl
because they all depend on you setting a certain level of silence to
indicate track end/start. Setting that level - even for CDs - is an
iffy proposition. For vinyl it is next to impossible. Much better is
to record the entire side then split into tracks yourself. Easiest to
use splitter I know of is CDWave Editor. See my dandies below for
more info.
-------------------
I can't imagine an online database for vinyl that would be worth a
spit. For 100+ years of recordings??? Additionally, there would be
no chance of correctly identifying the record just from artist/title
names which you would have to provide. Easier to just type in the
rest (album/track). If you provided album name that could generate
the rest of the data from a DB if it were extensive enough. I doubt
such exists.
------------------
You didn't mention cleaning the recording but you should have. Not an
easy task and requires more than just letting some program have at it.
Often requires more than one cleaner too.
