While not doubting your frustrations with it are you sure you can't tweak
the things your having problems with? While I'm no expert, I've beeen
playing with my 885 since I got it yesterday and I can rename activities,
change the order things come on when starting an activity, add IR delay to
certain devices if they are not behaving properly, change the keystroke
frequency of the remote and many other things. I'm nowhere near happy with
how it's operating at the moment but it is useable and I know with some time
and tweaks that I'll get it where I need it to be functionality wise. I
find the software really useable too, asking useful questions about what
your problems are and then sending you down the correct config path to sort
your problems out. I'd have thought if my 885 can do these things I
describe that certainly the 1000 could?
