Beware of the cheap sets on Ebay. I decided to take a chance and bought one
of the Asian bootleg sets for $30 to $40 a while back (probably over a year
ago) - one of the 'Next Generation" seasons, I believe. The quality was
fine, but there was one major problem - the last episode on each disc was
cut short anywhere from a couple to 5 minutes or more. That was a wasted
$30 to $40, but I think I did eventually get a partial refund from Ebay
after submitting a claim.

I don't know what they are going for now at retailers, but I ended up
getting all the season sets (legitimate Region 1, and new as in still
factory sealed) on Ebay from prices ranging from $55 to $85 each (including
shipping), which was much better than the typical retail price of $120 to
$150 at the time. It was a pain having to fool with Ebay auctions, but I
refused to pay over $100 a set at normal retail stores for old Star Trek
shows.
