I'm pretty new to this in the modern day sense :-). I just picked up
a copy of the old 5.0 because I'm still running win2000 pro and don't
want to upgrade and reviews sounded like what I wanted to get.

Turns out it's eating some time. Whether I render audio and video, or
I just render audio...the audio is just white noise. The audio sounds
great from the video I imported from the card of my nikon L14, a
fairly new camera. The video studio s/w plays the audio just
fine..until I try to render it to mpeg 2 or ntsc whatever else I
tried. It takes so long to render. Does anyone know the answer to
this problem before I waste a bunch more time? Thanks, -Bob
