Our church has the audio control booth dead center front in the
balcony and NOT enclosed. Screen projection and graphics inserts etc.
are done from this booth.

There is a separate enclosed booth where camera controls, (we have 3
cameras that are remote controlled). video and recording equipment and
duplication stations are located.
This seems to work very well for us.

I agree that the people in the audio booth need to be in the open in
order to have full view of everything that is going on.
