Well, that's a point I hadn't considered before.
But in addition to the risk of shortening the life
of the printer, I'm concerned with
- how long the print will last without fading,
- how much more susceptible to smearing,
- the risk that cheap inks may clog up the
nozzles in a short time, (I've never had
to so much as clean the nozzles on mine.)
- if the colors are an *exact* match for the
originals. I used generic ink in my last printer.
Ordered yellow once and what I got was orange.
Sent it back and got another orange. Shortly
thereafter, the printer died anyway, so I didn't
pursue it.
I take it that you are satisfied on all these points?
