Verizon DSL? Your DSL modem is also a router and the WinMX ports need
to be configured through it. Find your modem/router here...
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm. Then follow the "port
forwarding" instructions for your model. The default WinMX ports are
6699 TCP and 6257 UDP, but you can change them if need be. Just
remember to set the same ports in everything - WinMX, the router and any
firewall (if used) - and to restart WinMX after any change in ports.
With the ports forwarded correctly, you should be able to run WinMX as
either a primary or a secondary.
