I'm assuming that the connection that's breaking is the WinMX
connection, and not your actual internet connection. Even so, you'll
probably need to be more specific - what kind of internet connection
and winmx settings do you use? Have you used winmx that long? I had a
problem myself when (DSL connection, wpn winmx connection as a
secondary) the entire program would crash. After a couple of years of
problem-free use, the only conceivable change was my attempt to DL a
popular new song; removing that song from my transfer list coincided
with the end of the problem.
If you think it's a corrupt file problem, why do you think that
reinstalling it will make any difference? The original DL file can be
kept anywhere - you choose where that file goes. It's small, so if you
decide to install again, it's no real problem just to DL it again.
