If you can upload, your connection is fine although you need to limit the
upload bandwidth to 70% of your connection's upstream capacity.
The reason you can't download is that you are trying to obtain "fake
files" which are planted by companies opposed to winMX. They are sharing
thousands of files of differing lengths, none of which can be uploaded.
They tend to share from the same folder name (show full paths in browse),
so you can quite often get rid of most fakes by putting "-user"
or "-settings" in WinMX's lower search box. Avoid any search results
which have no queue, anything worth having is worth queuing for.
