That's why it's obscure - because it's hard to find. In P2P there's no
way to tell just how obscure something is and how hard it is to find.
For instance, put in "She's having a baby" and you'll get hundreds of
hits for "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush, but none for "Full of Love"
(AKA "Mind Goes Yo") by Dr. Calculus, even though both are on the
"She's Having a Baby" OST. I've found the OST for "Clash of the
Titans" but not for "Meteor" even though both were done by Laurence
Rosenthal. This has nothing to do with the software - any P2P system
will be as effective as the number of people who use it. The most
likely answer is that there is no such thing as stuff - you simply
misjudged how obscure some "stuff" was.

It takes a man of extraordinary bravery to use the term "semi-hard".
Getting to your question, you seem to think that the same "stuff" was
easier to find before than it is now - have you actually tried
searching for what you wanted to find before and found that those same
songs (I'm assuming we're talking about music) are now harder to find
than they had been?

Which is pretty good. Other people find it impossible to DL while
they're WinMX is in "connecting" mode, so you're ahead of the game.
There may be a solution for your connection problems, but that would
require more from you about your connection - Dial-up, broadband, winmx
settings, etc - you know, the boring stuff.

Many things - impossible to say which ones apply to your case until you
tell us what that is. WinMX does not make it impossible (or even
virtually so) to DL what you want.

Are you behind a firewall? Is this a home account or school? afs/aeq?
Are you hsaring files of the same type as you're looking for?
