There is, George. It's just a bunch of people using the various P2P networks
to disseminate the all-new "Distributed Virtual Cryptic Crossword" games
that are flying around at the moment. Those are just the cryptic clues, in
the form of filenames. You have to download the entire set, otherwise you
can't complete the crossword. If you're thinking of participating, I've
solved both clues you've quoted . . . . . . (1) = "sphincter" . . . (2) =
"propaedeutic".
