VHS= ~30 years; Vinyl LPs---> CDs= ~40 years ; Also, DVDs aren't
exactly young. It's now 10 years!

The reason I don't like renting DVDs is the playback problems...
scratches, skipping, distorted picture... a DVD rental ends up having a
worse picture than a VHS rental.
