Shareaza is 100% free and is even opensource

Shareaza supports 4 p2p networks and can be used also to download from
http and ftp servers
It is more anonimous than winmx (the IP is still traceable, but it does
not show your file path when browsing the library of someone and you
can chose to don't allow browsing) and you can select what info about
you you want to show to others.
give it a try, it won't let you down
