Firstly - thanks so much for the "Fix" to get WinMX Peer Group back up! Many
thanks to the "team" who worked on the problem and restored normality to our
world (free of Machiavellian (? spelt right) rule)
Ok - my query (a polite and straight answer would be appreciated, please!!!)
WinMX Peer network working ok - But, on OpenNap networks I quite often get
the "Waiting for incoming connection" message for both Downloads and Uploads
(though I have downloaded and people have Uploaded)
In SETTINGS, for "incoming TCP Connection" using either of the options does
not rectify the "fault". For "IN/OUT UDP Packets", again, using either of
the options does not rectify the "fault".
Am I missing something, or is it just a quirk of the OpenNap networks. I am
using Sygate Firewall and the WinMX application and whatever it needs, is
allowed.
Constructive, helpful and non-sarcastic replies gratefully received.
