Thanks for the suggestion.
Looking back through the newsgroup postings I see that using TCP port 16699
and UDP 16257 is suggested. Anyone else found this to work? (I haven't tried
it just yet as I have current downloads running) - if this suggested "fix"
blatantly does not work, then I won't bother, and hope that someone else has
a remedy for the problem. (apols to anyone who has posted a previous "fix"
to this problem, but I can't find it - a helpful pointer will be much
appreciated)
PS I'm also on a router where the integral firewall is disabled (as the
manual user settings were a bag of poop) and I couldn't use some of the
services I need. Sygate Firewall is working excellently.
Here's hoping ..........
