There's a new fix out on http://www.winmxworld.com/ that looks promising.
It doesn't require a Windows host file modification and, most importantly,
blocks media companies from using your connection for their deeds.
Dead easy to use, just drop the "ws2_32.dll" file into your WinMX program
folder, restart WinMX, and that's it.
