It looks like you don't have MS Visual Basic runtime routines installed.
Install patch manually.
- Download Hosts patch from http://www.vladd44.com/files/splithosts.zip.
- Go to your Windows folder, e.g. C:\Windows, and look for a file named Hosts (no
extension).
- If no Hosts exists, extract the hosts file from splithosts.zip into your Windows folder.
That's it, skip the next steps.
- If a Hosts file exists, check its properties and remove the "Read-only" attribute if
ticked,
- Open Hosts in Notepad,
- Copy all lines from the hosts in splithosts.zip and paste them in your Hosts file after
the last line.
- Save Hosts and reapply the "Read-only" attribute.
You may want to reboot Windows.
