I think the DLL file is by far the easiest and most effective. Just
drop it in a folder, how difficult is that? Besides redirecting the
peer cache it also blocks some known bad IPs that spread fake files.
This is a real necessity, specially for primaries.
The HOSTS file simply redirects the peer cache (just like the DLL) but
doesn't block bad IPs. But to get it working you must be intelligent
enough to edit a text file inside one of Windows subfolders.
Apperantly that is just too much for some.
OpenNap works. Period. But it works slightly different than WinMX in
regards to searching and using multiple sources. It's just a matter of
getting used to. And it never had to be one or the other, you can use
OpenNap AND WinMX.
