What ".dll " file did you replace exactly? There's only one file called
"ws2_32.dll" and you can replace it as many times as you like, without
consequence. But if you want, you can of course just delete it from
your WinMX installation directory, and use one of the patches out there
to replace or modify your "hosts" file.
