If you're looking for an easy way to backup and replace your "hosts"
file, in order for it to help WinMX connect to the new peer cache
servers, then I suggest you dl this patch that comes with an installer
(latest revision!): http://www.vladd44.com/files/PIEPatch2.4.exe

Done all this, then your WinMX should connect just fine.
