For how long?
Occassionally I get these whois windows that remain blank, and I just
clear them out of the queue. Typically they'll reappear and their
whois/browse functions will suddenly become more cooperative.
Though I can't say for certain, I think these are users who somehow
lost their connection to WPN. They remain in the queue (again, this is
just my guess) and an even DL because you only need the network to find
sources and enter queues, not to actually DL from them.
