However, they are mainly DIGITAL DEVICES. AND all analog devices will be
useless when HDTV comes online for good. Analog recording devices will be
dead. HDTV will play previously recorded analog recordings, howeever, analog
devices will not record HDTV without a decoder.

As to the flagging issue, look it up in last month's Newsweek issues. I read
it while waiting for my wife to come out of a doctor's appointment.
