Yes I know what you mean and I think there is a loss in translation. I
found this out when I wanted to put a notice in my "shares" that says
something like "If you want to trade please choose your files carefully."

I was getting tired of setting up the trade only to have the person who
requested a trade quit their d/l and expect me to be at their beck and call
to start another and if I wasn't at their beck and call they cancel me.
That really would piss me off;.

I needed this statement in at least four langauges; Italian; English;
French; and Spainih. But when I tried to get a trnslation of it I noticd
that "trade" was just not coming out right. It was the wrong "trade." In
Italian it is scambi. But the translaters were looking at as more of a
"partnership." A business relationship. That's not the right "trade."

So if "trade" was not coming out right for Italian it's not out of the
question it isn't coming out right for the others and including Swedish.

Trade implies you are offering something of value for something of value in
return. WinMX does NOT have to be this way but on the whole it is. Their
are applications such as eMule where this concept of trade is not relevant
or even possible. So WinMX is unique in this regard. It really is a
trading application which can be used as a share application. eMule is a
share application that cannot at all be used as a trade application.
