Absolutely. Which is why it's unfair to characterize all users as one
"type" or another. Sure, there exists a minority/majority (depending on
your personal experience) of traders on the network, but that has nothing
to do with what the software was originally designed for. The fact that
*intended* use often gets co-opted by the users is nothing new.

Nasty and stupid have never been exclusive to WinMX. In fact, I seem to
recall them both showing up in IM chat way back when Napster was free. In
fact, they show up quite frequently, everywhere in the ether. Sometimes
just plain ugly puts in an appearance too.
