You see, one side is known as "Operation PIE" (run by people such as
Vladd44, SABre'911, Gemini777, etc.), the other consists of "WinMX
World" together with "WinMX Group / KM".
These two groups offer a substantially different method of reconnecting
the WinMX client to the WinMX Peer Network. They have different views
on the effectiveness of each of the two methods and the "PIE group" is
now being accused of attacking the other group's method (or planning to
do so) by that same group (i.e. WinMX World + WinMX Group / KM). More
importantly the "PIE group" is also being accused by the other group,
of trying to take over the WinMX client plus peer caches. Of course the
"PIE group" denies all these accusations.
Let's hope for the benefit of the whole WinMX community, that they can
work out their differences any time soon and better yet work together
in rebuilding the network towards the level on which it once thrived!
