Whatever has happened to the beloved WinMX ?
Has it gone the way of the Napster ?
All the bullcrap about the MP3 file sharing .
The part I liked is if a song (sound) was heard or artist mentioned , then I
would go on track down an MP3 or a couple tracks to see what the
aformentioned was like before I went and BOUGHT the CD .
Pulse Code Modulation 16 bit ain't bad but one could only dream of perhaps
24 bit with a little 5.1 Dolby thown in .
IMHO mp3 is basically muddled . No bass , limited high end .
I guess this just goes down with the post millelenium drudgery of ,
corrupt politics
media control
and squeezing the last nickles out of the Old Technology .(Micheal Jackson
