Hi.
This is an OT-question about codecs.
I've downloaded a few albums in a CDimage.ape format (seems like sort of
album-wraps - aprox 300 MB each). This format is new to me - I understand
it's sort of a lossless format like .flac.
The problem is also that it seems like an album-wrap. I'd like to divide it
into single files in high bitrate mp3.
My questions:
How do I play these .ape-files? Which Media-player is the best for this?
How do I re-encode these files for mp3-format files instead of a whole
album?
What do you recommend? Suggestions and comments - both on progs and
'how-to's', would be highly appreciated.
