it wasn't "particular file" ... it was "pet hate of people, who insist downloading
a particular file from you". I mean, why share that "particular file" if you
don't want just anyone be able uploading it. Put it in a special barter map and
offer it only to those who requests it and have something of interest for you to
barter with.

from what I understand, you're the one that decides max total uploads and also
uploads per user ... so if downloading one single file from you prevents others
from contacting you, this means you've set the limits real sharp

isn't WinMX construed in the manner that if a certain file is available from
several sources, those will be used in the process downloading process? On the
other hand, if someone uploads from me, I don't see if they're using other
sources. Anyways, it is very polite of you to allow them to finish their business
once they've started.
