no on winmx and no on the file (I tried finding it but nothing was listed
anywhere on my 2 machine lan).
for client clarification: I use lopster and I haunt the opennap servers (all
58+ networks). Lopster is, by far, the closest thing to winmx that linux
has (only better. it supports multisource downloads on opennap).

that was a big list. lots of reading there.
I used to use winmx in windows, but since I no longer have windows, I don't
see a point to running a windows client under WINE (Windows Is Not
Emulated).
looks like the RIAA et al have been rather busy.....
