I've had the same problem and find if Alba Extractor doesn't work then it's,
as has been said in further posts, a file named "albw" though it isn't.
Easiest way to deal with these files, I've found, is to simply pull them
into a wave file editor eg. "WavePad" or "Nero Wave Editor" and highlight
each track (if you zoom in you'll see the "natural" breaks) save them in a
format that suits you , and then burn the CD or play the track.
