Dont leave the incoming box blank, there is a total limit on throughput even
for a cable system, here its T3 cable 1Gb/second, so I have never maxed it
out, yet,
there is a possibility
1. a file having sufficient sources to max out your connection, incoming
maxed out, outgoing halts, no acknowlegements are sent, transfer halts,
sources all timeout, you go back to 99 in the Q, setting a slower max
setting may actually increase downloads, no timeouts
2.winmx ties up your bandwidth to such an extent that you cannot browse surf
or mail, setting a slower max means you can actually do something else
If you have a slow line it happens often
find out what your connection speed is and set your outgoing and incoming so
the total is just less than that.
connection bandwith is xxxKb (bits)/second winmx displays in xxxKB (bytes)
/second 14KB out is 112Kb out
