Now, Ringo suggested in song that we "stop and take the time to smell the
roses", but I don't suppose that's what you had in mind.
Then again, Spinal Tap famously (and fictiously as well as hilariously) ran
into trouble with something called "smell the glove", so perhaps that's it.
I guess it depends on your perspective, or as you point out, "where you're
standing."
