I try not to bother about that too, but it is a real factor when you
yourself try to download stuff. - others might cancel you if they don't
like what you have. Sharing Real Media wont cause harm by itself, but a
majority of more popular formats will definitely help you.
If the Real media files are theonly format available then people might
be able to use them. However, if you are ripping them yourself I really
would recommend going for .mp3 or .avi
- It is ultimately the content that counts.

Which software? - You can be fairly confident these days that all Winmx
users like it.
