It's absurd!! As if restrictions and licensing on digital downloads from
places like Napster aren't restrictive, confusing and limiting enough --
now incorporate all that into new CD's.

I have a great way to stop music piracy, just make CD's cheaper, which
they should have done long ago instead of being the greedy bastards that
they these record companies are.

At $6 or $8 dollars for a brand new CD, nobody but poor college students
would waste their time finding, downloading, ripping and burning illegal
songs. Prices were high when CD technology was first introduced, but
there's no reason for such prices now.
