iTunes Help!

So I installed iTunes 5 today and it started copying my MP3's and now I
have no space left on my hard drive!

I followed all of the instructions in this message:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.music.mp3/browse_frm/thread/2d9b21da3e9fb309/c2fbf0d45816b0ce?lnk=st&q=itunes+5+copy+files&rnum=1#c2fbf0d45816b0ce

I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes.

I deleted the files in the iTunes program and added the My Music folder
again. I lost my playlists!!!!!

The "Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" is NOT
checked - and it never was!??!!?!?

But I can't find where the MP3's were copied to so I can delete them.
Occasionally, I'll find duplicate MP3's where there weren't any
before, and they just have a number 2 at the end of the file name (no
parenthesese - sp?(parenthetics?)).

Anybdy have any ideas?

I tried searching for music files with the number 2 in the file name,
but they all seem to refer to track numbers.

I sure would like my 10 GB+ of space back on my machine.

Thanks in advance.

Kire
