If TuneBite just digitally copies the sound data as it goes to the card, then there will be no difference in sound quality due to your soundcard. However if like you're telling me it is actually meant to play the sound through the Speaker jack and record back through the Line jack, then yes, the soundcard will affect the quality and basically the weak link is the card's DAC and also how succeptible the card is to the electronic noise coming from inside the PC case.
