OK...I tried this with an Audiobook I just purchased but was unable to burn
with the error;
"None of the files can be burned to an audio CD.
Playlists which include purchased music and tracks longer than an audio CD
cannot be burned.
To burn an audio CD of (Audiobook) please make a playlist with just that
track and choose Burn Disc"
I guess that makes sense - not possible to fit 120 mins onto an 80 min CD...
So I created a new playlist and dragged part 1 of 3 into it and the next
error message said;
"This computer is not authorised to play or burn (Audiobook).
Authorising this machine will allow it to be burned."
I purchased the audiobook on iTunes on this same computer but I had
originally setup my iTunes account on my girlfriends computer...so I
authorised it anyway and was told I had now authorised 2 out of 5
computers...
So I went to burn a single track from the audiobook and then received
another error message telling me;
"The song in this playlist will not fit on one Audio CD.
Do you want to create multiple Audio CD's with this playlist split across
them?
This will require more than one blank CD to complete"
Thwarted at every turn it would seem...all I wanted to do was copy the
Audiobook onto CD or DVD so I could copy it onto my girlfriends computer
where the iTunes account was setup and where there is a USB2 port - I only
have USB1.1 port on this one...it would have been nice to consolidate the
libraries on both machines.
Is there an easy way to copy Audiobooks (and Podcasts?) from one computer to
another when they are in different locations - i.e.. not networked together?
Kind regards,
