Hi all,
I have been ripping my own CDs to MP3 for a few weeks. My goal is to
transfer all my CDs to my HD and DVD Audio.
My main interest is classical music. I have been using the nogap option
in LAME and listening the MP3s with foobar2000.
Until today, I have been very successful. I have converted dozens of
CDs and the resulting MP3s have no gaps at all.
But now, when I try to convert this opera CD that I bought 15 years ago
(Tristan and Isolde with Karl Bohm) the nogap option and foobar combo
are not perfect. I can listen to a very small gap between some of the
tracks of this CD. I retried to rip and encode this CD several times,
but the gap is still there.
Anyone has any explanation and a possible solution for this?
Thanks in advance,
RN
