Playlist disorder after using ID-Tagmaker

Posted by Alexander on 10/07/51 11:31

Hi all,

I just discovered the nice feature of tag-it software and spent about 4
hours labelling my approx. 60 GBs of mp3 music today. Grand! I´m
happy!

What I am NOT happy about is this:

Why does Winamp still doesn´t put the files in the right order, if I
mark all songs from an album and hit the "enter" key? The files are
named properly in the Windows explorer and now also on the meta-tag,
yet Winamp won´t play them in the right order and I still have to sort
them out manually.
What can I do? I didn´t find anything in the settings that would fix
this.

2nd question - similar topic:
I use a simple and quite small mp3-player while I run my errands, and
whenever I drag new music into an existing folder, it gets sorted
ANYwhere, but never right at the beginning or at the end of the already
existing collection of songs in there.
Does anybody know which "logic" these small mp3-players use? I suppose
they´re not much different from a USB stick?

Thanks for the help and please forgive me for posting something that
has probably been dealt with already.

Alex
