Thanks dadiOH! I was wondering what the heck the logic was for
determining file drop order. Just wrote a test, using your
description. With my XP box, when dragging files from explorer to the
test app, the app receives the files in the order they were listed in
the explorer pain, with the pointed to file being the first, the file
below that being second, until the bottom of the list, at which time
it wraps around. Given:
01-The Clincher.mp3
02-Get Some.mp3
03-Vitamin R (Leading Us Along).mp3
04-Still Running.mp3
05-Breach Birth.mp3
06-Panic Prone.mp3
07-Another Know It All.mp3
08-Tug-O-War.mp3
09-To Return.mp3
10-Emotional Drought.mp3
11-Bend The Bracket.mp3
Selecting all, pointing to track 1, and dragging into the app, the app
receives:
WM_DROPFILES
01-The Clincher.mp3
02-Get Some.mp3
03-Vitamin R (Leading Us Along).mp3
04-Still Running.mp3
05-Breach Birth.mp3
06-Panic Prone.mp3
07-Another Know It All.mp3
08-Tug-O-War.mp3
09-To Return.mp3
10-Emotional Drought.mp3
11-Bend The Bracket.mp3
Selecting all, pointing to track 8, and dragging into the app, the app
receives:
WM_DROPFILES
08-Tug-O-War.mp3
09-To Return.mp3
10-Emotional Drought.mp3
11-Bend The Bracket.mp3
01-The Clincher.mp3
02-Get Some.mp3
03-Vitamin R (Leading Us Along).mp3
04-Still Running.mp3
05-Breach Birth.mp3
06-Panic Prone.mp3
07-Another Know It All.mp3
I thought an example might be useful, and thanks again for the
clarification.

I wish that they would sell it.
It never does what I want,
but only what I tell it.
