Hello,
I like to record AM radio MP3's and Books on Tape to playback in my car, but
sometimes I have a problem.
The roadnoise can be too high, so I have to turn up the volume to hear
anything that is at a lower volume (like a caller on a talk show), but then
the host's voice is way too loud. It can be very annoying on long car
trips.
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for processing these
recordings to make it a little more listenable. I currently use an older
version of Sound Forge (5), but I record directly to MP3 with the free
version of Audiograbber (the timer is excellent). Is there a simple batch
program to process MP3's for this purpose, or should I just use Sound Forge?
Does anyone have any settings to recommend to get me started? What kind of
curve should I try for?
Thanks,
JB
