Does anyone have an Archos Gmini xs100 player connected under Windows
98 Second Edition (98SE) please? As I understand the system
requirements, the unit will connect without needing any driver
installation, under Windows ME onwards, but needs a USB driver
installed for 98SE. The box in which it came states "98SE" as one of
the OS with which it will work. Archos web site offers, under driver
download: "Archos_USB_Drivers_09062005.zip" as the "USB Driver
Package for all Archos Products"....but having installed this, the
unit is still not recognised on my 98SE system, although charging
works as expected, so hopefully USB cable/port are ok. Any info on
using xs100 under 98SE please? (Maybe I have a faulty unit - DOA?!)
