Isn't enjoyment and satisfaction with the 1/3 of your life that you spend at
work part of your "lifestyle"? I didn't exactly "take a lessor paying job"
because I loved my work, but I DID elect not to increase my pay by moving
from engineering to management when the opportunity arose. I made that
decision because I love engineering, and thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent
at it.
