If that is the case, then you'll have to add a Windows XP installation
CD to your shopping list. And if the computer is any older than about
Pentium 3 / 500MHz, then it probably can't handle Windows XP.
Long story short, you need to shop around and find out which MP3 players
work with Windows 98 or else you're looking at a complete overhaul of
your son's computer before you can be sure an MP3 player will work with it.
