I bought an iPod for a friend who is not very technically savvy and to
help her get started I had downloaded iTunes to my computer to start to
understand how we'd get some music on the iPod. When the iPod came in
I was out of town traveling so she loaded the software on her computer
and was able to buy some music online and has 5-10 songs on her iPod
now.
But here's the problem. We want to be able to share the iPod between
the two of us. And we both want to be able to buy music (or rip it
from a CD) and add to the iPod. But when I connected to the iPod to my
computer, iTunes screamed that it was linked to her account and asked
me if I wanted to deleted everything off the iPod to connect to my
account. Of course I don't want to do this.
So how can I go about this so that we both can add music to the same
iPod from different computers and iTunes accounts?
