Thanks Anthony.
I will take your advise.
It's a relatively new 200GB Western Digital but it's designated "H"
drive on my system (I've read somewhere that that in itself can cause
eroneous behaviour) and I have had some read problems in the past
necessitating a complete scandisk at bootup.
