Then you haven't saved any. You may have tried to save one (or many) but
if there is nothing in that folder then you haven't been successful yet.
You can fill up the playlist window on the player...and then close
MMJB...and when you re-open MMJB the playlist will still show in the
playlist window, but that isn't the same as "saving" it which writes an
..m3u file (basically just a text file with the file names and optionally
the path to them) to that playlist folder.
Simply put, if that folder is empty you haven't saved any.

You can write playlists with any number of applications, Winamp for one
good example, but you really sound like you are knowledgeable enough to
know how to do it the way you want to, it really shouldn't be being
difficult.

I'm not sure what the problem you seem to be experiencing stems from but,
again, when you save a playlist with MMJB it simply writes an .m3u file
and puts it in that folder from where you can then simply copy it and use
it anywhere else you might want to use it. I'm not sure that MMJB gives
you any option to change this behavior, what format it uses, or the
folder it is using to store those .m3u files even if you *wanted* it to.
